I'm Jude Ferrara, a documentary filmmaker, director, cinematographer, and editor specializing in character-driven storytelling. My work spans documentary films, branded content, and commercial campaigns, with a focus on uncovering authentic human stories and crafting cinematic narratives that connect with audiences.

Over the past several years, I've produced films and content for nonprofits, artists, startups, and established brands, taking projects from concept development and production through editing, color, and final delivery. Whether I'm profiling an artist, documenting a community initiative, or creating a customer story for a business, I'm always looking for the people and experiences that make a story meaningful.

My work has been recognized with Best Documentary at the 2024 Lake Placid Film Festival and Best Film and Best Cinematography at the 2023 Hawks Studios Film Festival for Matt Horner: Artifacts, where I served as Director of Photography and Co-Editor.

I've collaborated with artists and cultural figures including Ron English, Lady Pink, Bobby Hundreds, and Erik Foss. My documentary and branded work includes projects for Quest Workspaces, People USA, Andrew Freedman Home, Artists Unite America, Child Care of Dutchess County, and other mission-driven organizations and businesses.

Most recently, I directed, filmed, and edited a multi-location storytelling campaign across 10 Quest Workspaces locations throughout New York and Florida, creating cinematic brand films, customer stories, and social content. I've also produced documentary films focused on mental health recovery, crisis response, public art, and community impact.

Whether working independently or leading a small crew, I bring a documentary filmmaker's approach to every project—prioritizing story, character, and authenticity above all else.
